Sheer Maxi Skirt

As a 5ft2 I'm not the tallest of girls so find it very difficult to find a maxi skirt that doesn't swamp me although with this skirt my huge platforms help! A few seasons ago I started to notice a big trend in pairing maxi skirts with knitwear, two items I associate with two very different seasons but a trend I happily welcomed! It is a little tricky to get the look right though as tucking knitwear into something high waisted does result in all this bulk of fabric making me look and feel a few sizes bigger!

I'm starting a new job tomorrow! Very exciting! I'm doing some xmas temp work over the holidays to earn some extra money as I've now brought everyones xmas pressies so starting to feel the pinch! I've just noticed I've created over 100 posts this year! Also had a little move around with some things on the blog so its easier to read etc. including a new profile picture at the top of the sidebar! I've changed the url too so you can now find us at

The one trend you could not wear head to toe has to be leopard print (although I have spied the odd photo of Paris Hilton in the look and its slightly frightful!). Leopard print has been everywhere for a little while now, its something that adds a rock 'n' roll edge to a look and is infamous with the 90s thanks to the likes of Scary Spice and that leopard print jumpsuit. Why do we love leopard print so much? It may be because it lets us express our wild side or maybe its an excuse to behave a little catty, either way its a great and sometimes sexy look that well and truly has its crawls in the high-street will no hint of letting go.

Below is a selection of some Lookbookers who are also partial to a touch of leopard print in their wardrobes.

French Style

Feeling very French in this outfit! Its been so nice and sunny lately considering its now December!!! I've made my bedroom all nice and festive now. I have pink fairy lights along the top of my bed and some tinsel ball things on string along my window sill. I love Christmas!

How's everyone's Christmas shopping going? I've been doing all of mine online this year, the shops are just too crazy for me! The other weekend I went to London with my mum and sister to go round Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum & Masons. When we were walking along Oxford Street the pavement was so busy we were at a stand still for 10 minutes! It was horrible! Especially when some bright spark decided to push their way through, we were like sardines as it was I don't know what they thought the rest of us were doing? Standing around for fun? tssk!

I've got a couple of interviews arrange for next week! yay! So I've been pretty busy doing my research and working on my presentation for those. It would be amazing if I got either of these jobs, it would be lovely to have a new job and hopefully move for the new year! Fingers are well and truly crossed!
