Its outfits like these which make me look like such a nerd. I'm wearing the rabbit tee again today, I really like it at the moment and always go though a phase of wearing a favourite thing until I'm sick of it.

Vienna on Friday! Soooo excited! Everything is planned now so I just have to get my butt into gear and pack! I always manage to forget something important though, usually my pants or pjs! Which can be a bit embarrassing!

Damn I should have ironed these trousers! Yes these are my only pair of heels, well the only pair that I can actually walk in. I'm a wedges or flats girl at the moment (although to be perfectly honest I go for flats every time unless I'm going out). The socks are my old school socks that is why I haven't credited them.

I love the fact you can't even see my fringe anymore! I don't brush my hair or put any products in it I just wash it every morning leaving it to dry naturally and I love this low maintenance way that a full fringe just doesn't allow for! So its been banished from my forehead haha. I'm not going to the hairdressers for at least a year now. I want it to grow to just above elbow length with its untamed wavy texture and then knowing me, as soon as its perfect I'd go crazy and cut it all off into a wicked pixie cut. Damn my obsession with having short hair.

skirt, thrfited
socks, primark
wedges, new look

It isn't very nice outside today so I had to take these indoors so please excuse the poor lighting and even worse focus haha.

I saw Trainspotting today eventually as I've been told to watch it for years from a certain friend and I have to say I wasn't blown away... The dead baby wasn't half as freaky as I imagined (but then again I have a very vivid and wild imagination).

Vienna next week!!! So excited! Apparently we're eating "vienna cake" on the Friday haha I hope it doesn't have raisins in it as I hate them they always ruin lovey cakes!

Not a very inspiring outfit but its been nice lately and I felt like wearing something casual but also a little floral. I've been after some corduroy shorts for ages but they seem so expensive. I found some awesome 70s style cord flares in a charity shop a few weeks ago and turned them into some shorts! I call them my Pocahontas shorts as they reminds me of the Disney movie.

I felt really girly today. I thought I looked as if I was going to a wedding though! The necklace I got for my birthday a few years ago and shamefully I've hardly worn it! I decided it went really well with the lace jacket and shorts. Oh and how awesome is my unicorn ring? I saw it in miss selfridge when I was in London the other week and I just had to get it! I also got the little adjustable cat ring while I was there.

I've started to see the new beauty Fall 2011 photos from New York fashion week so I've been busy illustrating those for now. I also need to get my butt into gear and finish off the S/S 2011 beauty portraits! I'm getting there!

Butterfly Trousers

shirt, thrifted
bag, thrifted
belt, thrifted
trousers, primark
shoes, urban outfitters

This is my favourite kind of everyday outfit. I feel as if I could wear it for any occasion. I also think my glasses go really well with it. I'm a bit obsessed with glasses if you hadn't already guessed!

I'm unsure about the bag in these photos. I felt as it it looks wrong enough to clash wonderfully but now I'm not too sure...

I could not believe it when I saw these trousers in Primark! They were dirt cheap also and I've already worn them a lot. I feel as if I have to wear a smart top with them though else I feel like I look like I'm wearing pajamas.

I treated myself to a new pair of glasses the other day! I like them because they're big black frames so a lot different from my 50s black top rimmed glasses and harry potter spectacles. They make me feel like a fun late 80s librarian.

This is my year of watching all the movies I've ever wanted to watch. I have a big thing for movies made and set in the 80s/90s at the moment. The other day at a sleep over I watched American Psycho and Into the Wild - two completely different films. How funny is Christian Bale in American Psycho? His hair is so typically 80s and I could not stop cracking up at his facial expressions! In stark contrast we also watched The Machinist. He is freakishly skinny in it - it was horrible! There is one scene when he stands to the side and he completely disappears he's that skinny! Urg it gave me the chills! It didn't help that I'd scoffed an large McDonald's before watching it haha.

Silk Check Shirt

shirt, thrifted
bag, thrifted
skirt, h&m
shoes, urban outfitters

Not a terribly exciting outfit but the weather is still really windy at the moment! As you can see from my windswept hair and billowing clothes haha. The first photo was taken before a huge gust almost blew me away hence why I look all nicely tucked in there and then not in the others.

I'm getting use to the fringe now... I think it was just a bit of a shock. I'm still not totally use to seeing my reflection but I'm getting there. I think I'll make the most of it while its there but I won't be getting it trimmed once its grown. At least all I have to do to fix it is just wait (shame thats something I am awful at). Next time I get bored with my hair I'll try a different up do rather then cut it!

Tartan Shirt

So here is my first outfit post with the fringe. I'm going to be honest I don't like it. I think it looks okay and all I just haven't got use to it yet and at the moment I'm really regretting it and trying to style it in a way that it doesn't show. Its rather silly how I can't even look myself in the mirror with it. Obviously here I haven't hidden it as I thought I'd see how it comes out in photos in case I suddenly fall in love with it. I don't think its terrible or anything... its just not very "me". I miss my old low maintenance hair! Oh well, I literally only got a fringe cut in so I'll just grow it out (although it took me just under a year to grow out the last one).
